Food Bank / Food Relief Warragul is a service provided, and run, and managed by volunteers under the banner of Baw Baw Combined Churches Food Relief Inc.
We supply emergency food relief for residents of the Baw Baw Shire in need of food assistance. Application is a simple process for anyone over the age of 18 years, and a current Health Care card holder, and we provide 8 visits per year for food parcels, for a donation of up to $7-00 per visit if possible. We also provide a range of fruit and vegetables, plus other available items free of charge for registered clients at no cost when needed.
Our group also runs a Charity shop on site, consisting of mainly clothing, manchester, books, crockery, and household items, whereby the proceeds of sales are channeled into buying food items not supplied by local donors, and at times meeting a range of overheads.
